Kristi Holthaus
Office Manager
My husband Jeff and I were married in 1987 and began our journey together in Manchester, Iowa, where we spent 14 years raising our family. During that time, I ran a construction company with a crew of 36 until we moved to Tomah in 2001 to open Holthaus Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., which we’ve proudly owned & operated together ever since.
I am licensed in Property, Casualty, Life, & Health insurance and handle all the business side of our agency, including payroll, taxes, marketing, and employee management. I also own rental properties and the office complex that houses our Tomah agency. Today, we serve customers from our offices in Tomah, Neillsville, & Marshfield.
We have two grown sons, Tyler & Jordan, two daughters in law, & six wonderful grandchildren, and time spent together is always my greatest joy. Outside of work, I enjoy life with my two little fur-ball dogs, traveling, cruising in our convertibles, baking & cooking, UTVing, & fishing with my husband.

Jan Raasch
I was born in Stetsonville, WI, and graduated from Medford Area High School before earning my degree as an Administrative Assistant from North Central Technical College. For the past 22 wonderful years, I’ve shared life with my partner Allen, and together we have a beautiful, blended family of one daughter and four sons. Our family keeps growing with 8 precious granddaughters and 2 energetic grandsons who fill our lives with joy!
I’m a huge fan of sports fan & love cheering on my favorite teams, I love spending time camping, playing cribbage, and cuddling with my three adorable Chihuahuas who bring so much happiness to my days.
Since 2011, I’ve been proudly part of the State Farm family. Starting as a temp and moving to full-time in 2012, I’ve earned my licenses in Auto, Fire, Health, and Life insurance. What truly makes my heart happy is the service work — meeting amazing people and helping them protect what matters most. I’m grateful to be working with Jeff, the second agent I’ve had the pleasure of supporting, and I absolutely love my new role and office environment. Every day brings new connections and opportunities to make a difference, and that’s what I cherish most!

Sara Holthaus
Sara originates from the small town of Cobb, Wisconsin, where she was raised on a family-owned beef farm. Growing up in a rural agricultural setting instilled in her a strong work ethic, a deep appreciation for community, and an understanding of the importance of dependable support systems. After graduating from high school, Sara pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare and business administration. This unique combination of studies equipped her with a solid foundation in both the operational side of insurance and the strategic aspects of business management.
Shortly after college, Sara married her husband, Tyler, and they settled in Port Washington, Wisconsin, where they lived for a decade.
In 2024, Sara and her family made the move to Marshfield, Wisconsin. The transition has been a rewarding experience as they have embraced the close-knit community and enjoyed settling into their new home. Sara finds great fulfillment in her role at State Farm, particularly in the opportunity to meet new people.
In her free time, Sara is a devoted mom to her two children, as well as to Gus, their labradoodle, and Pippo, the family’s beloved bunny. Sara enjoys baking, with a particular love for all things sourdough—experimenting with different recipes. During the summer months, she dedicates time to cultivating a large vegetable garden, growing fresh, homegrown produce that the whole family enjoys. An avid thrift shopper, Sara delights in hunting for unique finds and sustainable treasures. She also enjoys engaging her husband, Tyler, in fun DIY house projects, turning home improvements into enjoyable bonding experiences.

Rhonda Simonson
Rhonda was born and raised in Tomah and still lives in the area today. She is married and lives on a farm with her husband. They farm 1,400 acres of Corn and Soybeans and produce over 800 gallons of Maple Syrup each year.
She has 5 children and 15 grandchildren that she loves spending time with all of them any chance she can.
She has been in the insurance industry since 1991 and can’t imagine doing anything else.
Her favorite part of her job has been building relationships with people through the years that seem like family. She also enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories and appreciates that no two days are ever the same in the insurance world.

Krysten Waring
Krysten was a military child who spent her childhood moving around the country and teen years in Europe. While in Europe she met and married her husband and began her family. This gave her the taste of travel and learning about different cultures. After 15 years living overseas, she decided it was time to return to the USA. She wanted to raise her 3 boys in a small town and decided to join her parents in Tomah, WI in 2013. Kristina Betthauser
Kristi Betthauser was born and raised in Tomah. Kristi was married in 1998 to her husband, Mark. They have one daughter and one son. They live just outside of Oakdale near her husband’s family farm.
While spending over 36 years in the banking industry she was lucky to meet many amazing customers over the years and build professional and personal relationships with them all. Most recently she had the opportunity to join the Holthaus State Farm family. She is looking forward to seeing a lot of her past customers and making new connections while helping the customers of the Tomah and surrounding areas with all their insurance needs.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping, attending sporting events that her adult children participate in and spending time with friends and family.

Lisa Smith
Lisa has been working within the insurance industry for the last 8 years, starting with intake calls and during that time, she received an Associate In Insurance certification. Lisa later earned her WI and New York state licenses as a Property Claims Adjuster. However, she realized that she missed having the connection from having face-to-face meetings with people and getting to know customers on a more personal level. Lisa was privileged to get hired by Holthaus Insurance & Financial Services, and proceeded to get her licenses in Property, Casualty, Life and Health. She takes great pride in building relationships with the customers she meets and talks to. She enjoys daily interactions with customers and being able to answer questions as well has help customers understand their policies and all the protection that insurance has to offer.
On a personal level Lisa has been married to her husband Jack for 38 years, and is the proud mother of three sons, two daughters-in-laws, and loves the time she spends with her three grandsons. Lisa grew up outside Chicago, and moved to WI shortly after she got married. She and Jack have lived in many areas of WI and even recently lived in Alaska for five years where she was a realtor. Lisa is overjoyed to be back in WI and being able to see her extended family as well as her friends that she has made over the years.

Taylor Brooks
Taylor grew up in Necedah. She moved down to Florida her senior year of high school and graduated there. Missing the Midwest, Taylor moved back home in 2014 and has been here since. She has a son that always keeps her on her toes. She really enjoys all things IT and her favorite part of working in customer service is meeting new people.
